Foundation Hope is an organization working directly on the storm ravaged Mississippi gulf coast. Volunteer Activities: Administrative work: phone calls, emails, filing; Distribution of supplies to individuals; Cleaning/gutting/restoring houses; Special skills jobs....and more!
Mount Carmel Ministries is a local church operating a supply distribution center here in Hattiesburg. From there they send supplies to the gulf coast, distribute goods to local residents and evacuees affected by Katrina and conduct other relief and recovery activities. They can be reached at 601-264-5881 Volunteer Activities: Warehouse assistance, office work, warehouse coordination, electrical, carpentry, vehicle maintenance, etc.
