May, 31 FNP: Family Network Partnership (FNP) is seeking adult volunteers for our summer and fall programming. FNP provides a positive place to hang out for at-risk youth, ages 6-17,. FNP offers a variety of activities such as bike shop, art, dance, recreation, tutoring, mentoring, creative writing, computer, gardening, special events and trips. Volunteers are encouraged to share their hobbies, talents and skills to the children.  Volunteer benefits: having fun, establishing relationships, and making a difference in a child’s life and your own. Summer Schedule: (May 31st-Aug.11th): Mon-Fri. 10am-1pm. LIFE: Put your carpentry skills to use and make it easy for someone to get into their home: Build a wheelchair ramp. LIFE of South Mississippi  is looking for an individual or group to help build wheelchair ramps for disabled citizens unable to afford a contractor. To learn more about LIFE, Click Here. Christian Services: Each month Christian Services sells "Angel Food" boxes (low cost, good-quality grocery boxes) to people in our community.  We distribute these boxes one Saturday each month.        We need volunteers to help pack and carry the boxes to the individuals' cars.  We distribute from 9:00am until 12:00 noon.       Call our offices to schedule you or your group to help.
