Alliances of agencies for specific focuses
	Why alliances?  To address specific of community service needs To allow for the effective mobilization of existing resources to address such needs To focus the efforts of many upon the same point for more effective service They can create opportunities for procuring additional resources that would otherwise be unavailable to any individual agency  They allow for effective communication and cooperation among agencies  We are currently seeking agencies to join our Youth Volunteering Alliance. With service learning becoming more and more common in schools, there is a greater need for volunteer opportunities which youth and teens can take advantage of.  With this in mind, Youth Volunteering Alliance agencies will provide these opportunities directly within their existing programming, through youth volunteer-specific programming or in other ways.
