Hattiesburg seeks to be the one
place to find out where and how to volunteer or, if you’re an agency,
where to find volunteers. Volunteer
Hattiesburg is a new volunteer center sponsored by United Way of
Southeast Mississippi in partnership with MCVS (the Mississippi Commission
for Volunteer Service) the USM Office of Community
Service Learning. Our
Services: · Connecting volunteers and agencies · Promoting volunteerism · Creating volunteer opportunities through collaborative service projects · Supporting volunteerism through services About our logo: As you may notice, our logo resembles a bridge. This symbolizes the role Volunteer Hattiesburg plays as a "bridge" in several important ways: a bridge between volunteers and agencies; a bridge between communities; a bridge between agencies themselves and a bridge between needs and resources.
